Rockaway Township is a neighborhood in Morris County and Northern New Jersey. Located 45-minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and 1.25-hours from New York City. For those commuting by train, there are two train stations minutes away in Dover and Denville for convenient access. Nearby Interstate 80 allows an easy way to connect east or westbound. For sports lovers, Peterson Field has various athletic fields for playing tennis, basketball, soccer, and football. When looking to cool off, both adults and kids will find loads of fun playing at Frog Falls Aquatic Park.
 
Meetings and special events can be held at the White Meadow Lake Country Club, located in the historic Hoagland Mansion. Rockaway River Country Club, Berkshire Valley Golf Course, and Bowling Green Golf Club are the best places to play a round of golf with beautiful courses.
