Denville is known for its location along the major transportation routes. The community has easy access to Rts 80, 287, and 280. U.S. Route 46 and NJ Routes 10 and 53 pass through the municipality. The Denville Train Station offers direct service to Hoboken or NY Penn Station on the
NJ Transit Morristown Line. Passengers who take the Hoboken train can switch to the
PATH to reach NYC. Passengers who take the Midtown Direct train will arrive at NY Penn Station in about 75 minutes.
